Editorial recommendations
- Avoid footnotes as far as possible.
- Avoid parenthetical remarks.
- Integrate appendices (if any) into the text.
- cc recommends the author-year bibliography style. (This is automatic with \documentclass{cc} unless you force something different.)
- Make sure your title is short and descriptive. If the title is too long provide a short \titlehead{...}. Words like "computational complexity of" are superfluous.
- Remember to insert the submission date, use the format \received{24 December 2009}.
- If a conference version has previously appeared, \cite it and put a sentence like "An extended abstract of this paper has appeared as \cite{...}" or "Previous versions ..." in the acknowledgment section.
- Run your text through a spellchecker.
